Towards the end of my mis-spent youth (about three years ago) I was sleep-walking my way through a rather tedious video game called
Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space
when I was jolted awake by a reference to my favourite magazine! At the cost of reliving some of the tedium, I've just replayed that part of the game in order to extract a video clip. When the player clicks on the object labelled ALCHEMY MACHINE the character Sam says "I'd bet my lifetime subscription to the
Fortean Times that that's an Alchemy Machine!"
